In mid-September, in our first conference hosted by the EMC Board of World Missions, new MOV speaker Adam Johns and Brad spoke in the Iglesia La Hermosa (The Beautiful Church) in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico.
We held a church leader’s seminar the first evening, and then a small conference attended by six churches of four sessions each day for the next two days. All the men joined discipleship groups. EMC’s international mission director was happy with the conference and wants us to go to Monterey, Mexico, in 2025, and their other countries.
MOV’s First Summit in a Fairground!
In late September, Brad held an MOV Men’s Summit at the Marshall County fairgrounds in Moundsville, West Virginia. The hosts of the summit went above and beyond as they prepared for this event—hosting a table at the county fair in the summer and putting up a billboard this fall! About 40 enthusiastic men from 7 area churches attended and all joined men’s discipleship groups!
