MOV speakers Mark Seager, Jamie Jackson, and Stephen Livesay traveled to Romania in October 2024 to work with Pica Aghiorghiesei, Ambassadors for Christ International (AFCI) Romania lead.

They held a conference for 25 attendees on the outskirts of Cluj. Cluj is a vibrant city with four universities and lots of tech companies that provide work. The impressive young men at our conference were attentive and eager to learn. The men were already convinced of the importance of reaching men, but they were interested in how to do it and were very engrossed in the material. The discussion breakouts usually went longer than planned as they excitedly discussed the issues. The men discussed doing another conference, even perhaps leading it themselves.

Also attending were AFCI Europe and Slovakia Director, Samuel Cekov, and Pastor Vlado Bosko, who is developing a counseling/equipping ministry for pastors in Slovakia. They loved the material, too, and Samuel is interested in having future MOV conferences in their Europe field.

The MOV team met also with 15 men from a large church to discuss our approach to a vibrant men’s ministry, our Connect-Grow-Serve principles.

This was a special conference for me…. There is a fire growing inside of me, a hunger and thirst for the Word of God. I want to become what the Lord wants me to become, and I think most of the information presented here is God’s will for men in general, but also for me personally.
